News RSS- IU School of Informatics to host dinner and diploma ceremony for its IUPUI graduates; School readying for IUPUI commencement
Mother’s Day 2008 will once again carry special significance for IUPUI graduates, including 142 newly minted grads of the IU School of Informatics. IUPUI commencement exercises will be held Mother’s Day, Sunday, May 11 at 10:00 A.M. and 3:00 P.M. at the Indiana Convention Center in downtown Indianapolis. The School of Informatics will be participating in the 10:00 A.M. ceremony.

Danita H. Forgey, an architect of the IU School of Informatics Health Information Administration Program (HIA), is stepping down June 30 to pursue a career in health information consultancy. Felisa Tennant, clinical assistant professor, has been named acting director of the School’s HIA Program.

- Media Arts and Science undergrad named recipient of IUPUI Chancellor's Scholar Award
Leon Nowlin, Jr., a Media Arts and Science Program senior, has been named recipient of the School of Informatics 2008 IUPUI Chancellor’s Scholar Award. Nowlin, 22, was recognized for his accomplishments during the Chancellor’s Honors Convocation April 25 at IUPUI.
