Policies for Graduate Study
Intent to Graduate
At least one semester before completing your thesis, you must submit an Intent to Graduate Form with the School of Informatics. This applies to all graduate students.
Academic Advisor
Your academic advisor is the director (or associate director) of the graduate program you are enrolled in.
Thesis/Dissertation
You must submit a thesis to fulfill graduation requirements.
(NOTE: Instead of a thesis, graduate students in the Media Arts & Science program may complete a capstone project to fulfill graduation requirements.)
