Graduate Certificate Program in Human-Computer Interaction

Back to Human-Computer Interaction

The Graduate Certificate Program in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) is a 15 credit hour program that focuses on the core theory and best practice of the discipline.

The program provides various plans of study regarding course schedule planning each semester. Students can finish the program within two to five semesters, depending on schedule.

Non-degree seeking students that have taken HCI courses from the School of Informatics prior to entering the certificate program may transfer up to 6 credits (2 courses) into the certificate program. However, the two courses that they transfer must be included in the current five courses required to finish the degree and must be with a grade of B- or higher.
