Internships
The School of Informatics believes that real world experience is a valuable part of an educational program. Along with applying their classroom learning to projects and gaining additional knowledge, students graduate with relevant work experience in their chosen field. This can translate into a higher quantity and quality of employment opportunities for students upon graduation.
Value of Internships
Carol D’Amico, President & CEO of Conexus Indiana, speaks about the value of internships.
Students may (upon approval) complete internships for academic credit or in lieu of the capstone experience requirement. For-credit internships are available at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. Contact the Career Services Office with any questions and consult with your academic advisor to determine how an internship for credit can fit into your plan of study.
