NBS inducts student leadership

Officers of the IUPUI chapter of the National Broadcasting Society (Media Creations Club) were officially inducted into the society on October 29th, 2008.
President Chauncey Frend, Vice-President Rebecca Finch, Secretary Justine Marter, Communications Coordinator Kylee Pena, and Academic Advisor Afsina Yildiz participated in the ceremony, becoming fully recognized as active members of the society.
The traditional ceremony included the lighting of candles and reading of oaths provided by the National Broadcasting Society. Members also signed their names in a book to record the event. Treasurer Jeff Fugate will be inducted at a later date.
This was the first induction ceremony held for the IUPUI chapter of the society.
