Career Resources

The Career Services Office in the School of Informatics offers one-on-one career counseling and guidance for all Informatics undergraduate and graduate students as well as alumni at the Indianapolis campus. The staff teaches the career development courses Directed Study I & II for Informatics and New Media majors that incorporate career and major exploration, job search preparation, and student/employer interaction.

The Career Services Office also oversees the school's for-credit internship program. Other services include interest and career exploration, mock interviews, and the school's online recruiting system – www.informaticscareers.com – where students can view and apply for internships, part-time positions, and full-time jobs related to their chosen fields.

Employers are welcomed to request an account to advertise relevant positions within their organizations to students. Additionally, employers who do not currently use interns are welcome to contact our Career Services Office for assistance in developing an effective internship program.
