BiographyMark Simon has worked in the entertainment industry for more than 20 years. He also own two companies. Animatics & Storyboards has provided storyboards, illustrations, cartoons and comic book illustration for over 2,500 productions with clients that include Disney, Universal, Viacom, Sony, HBO, Nickelodeon, Steven Speilberg, Fox, ABC, AT&T, NASA, and The American Cancer Society. His other company, A&S Animation, has won more than 50 international awards for character animation and animated shorts. Mark Simon writes for Animation Magazine and has authored five books: Producing Independent 2D Character Animation, Storyboards: Motion In Art, Facial Expressions, Your Resume Sucks, and The Art Direction Workbook. He teaches at the Digital Animation and Visual Effects School located at Universal Studios, and previously taught at the University of Central Florida. He currently lectures around the world at major conferences, conventions, and schools.
