Informatics Speakers Bureau

Perhaps you've heard this term "informatics," but aren't at all sure that you understand what it means. And, perhaps you're the chairperson responsible for arranging guests to speak to your civic or social group's next function. Now, you can kill two birds with one stone by contacting the Informatics Speakers Bureau. You can arrange a speaker for your luncheon meeting, and learn what this informatics business is all about!

The Indiana University School of Informatics has a diverse group of faculty and staff members who are available to speak to community groups, business organizations and service clubs. An appropriate speaker can be arranged for any of the following suggested topics:

  • What is Informatics?
  • What is New Media?
  • What is Human/Computer Interaction?
  • Information Technology and Indiana

Talks typically range from 20-30 minutes and usually include a related visual presentation. The Informatics Speakers Bureau is available, at no charge, in exchange for opportunities to meet influential community leaders and organizations to tell our story.

We ask that speaker requests be made at least one month in advance of the requested date. Contact us online for arrangements and questions.

We look forward to hearing from you!
