Graduate Assistantships
The School of Informatics offers a select number of graduate assistantships each semester to qualified students pursuing a master’s degree. In accepting the school’s offer for financial support, graduate assistants become employees of Indiana University and commit to 5-10 hours of work per week under the direction of a designated faculty member.

All graduate assistants must attend an orientation meeting after first accepting their offer. Orientation lasts approximately 1.5 hours. Those unable to attend orientation must send notification before the scheduled orientation meeting date. See sidebar for contact information, as well as date, time and location for the next orientation meeting.
