Entrepreneurship in Informatics
Learn directly from Entrepreneurs in the field of Informatics. This seminar course will offer the student the chance to hear directly from numerous Indiana software executives, offering stories about their business start-ups, failures and lessons learned. The student will have the chance to engage directly with executives whose companies are in various stages. We will hear about starting from scratch with personal funds, about how ideas evolve from the original thought to one that has a value proposition that can be replicated across many customers. The student will be expected to participate in class, write about lessons learned and work with a team on a final project. They will be rewarded with learning directly from those that have recently been there.
