Master of Science in Human-Computer Interaction
The Master of Science in HCI is a 36-credit program. It gives students the ability to design, develop, and evaluate how people interact with computers. This includes integrated knowledge of many fields, including: design, psychology, usability engineering, business, and technology.
Certificate in Human-Computer Interaction
The Graduate Certificate Program in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) is a 15 credit hour program that focuses on the core theory and best practice of the discipline. The program provides various plans of study regarding course schedule planning each semester. Students can finish the program within two to five semesters, depending on schedule.
Ph.D. in Informatics (HCI specialization)
Students in the doctoral program will explore the connections among technology, theory, empirical research and social analysis, and application domains in a diverse and multidisciplinary curriculum. This curriculum will include core courses and seminars in informatics; informatics sub-disciplines; courses in methodology and theory; electives in related disciplines inside and outside of the school; and a dissertation.
