Biography

Baldwin has worked professionally in a number of different arenas including web and multimedia development, painting, scenic painting, and illustration. Dan is a winner of the 2000 Society of Illustrators Los Angeles Bronze Medal, and was recently awarded a New Faculty Development grant that explores the evolution of storytelling, and the relationship between narrative painting and viewer interaction via interactive multimedia. In spring 2002, Dan was awarded the Indiana University Board of Trustees Excellence in Teaching Award.

Research Interests

Dan's research interests include multimedia development, web development, portfolio development, and the convergence of these new technologies with traditional views of art.
