Biography
Skip Comer is a lecturer and research associate in the Media Arts and Science Program. He teaches N235 Introduction to Computer Simulation/Animation, N300 Digital Media Production and N503 Digital Media Application Design Processes.
In addition to his expertise in multimedia applications, Comer has taught photography and worked as a commercial photographer for over a decade. He continues to consult privately in the development of commercial interface designs.
Research Interests
Skip’s current research is centered around the development of the user interface for the CLIOH digital library, coordinating the CLIOH database team in the development of XML code to communicate between the CLIOH database server and client-side multimedia applications.
